Hi Parents,

Thank you for your patience as we get settled into the new season. We love seeing the pool full of Penguins! We have a few important reminders for today:

Time Trials

• Today, Wednesday, June 5, is the last day to let the coaches know if your swimmer will NOT be at Time Trials. It is important for everyone to use SwimTopia to declare your swimmer’s availability, but generally we will assume your swimmer will be there if they are left undeclared.
  • For instructions on how to RSVP, please see How to Declare Your Swimmer
  • Little Blues will not be swimming at Time Trials, but are welcome and encouraged to come cheer on their teammates. Rockhoppers, Macaroni, and Emperor swimmers should all RSVP.
• Don’t forget to sign up to volunteer on SwimTopia.
  • From the SwimTopia home page: Meets & Events / Signup Calendar / Job Signup
• If you are able to contribute refreshments for the swimmers, please sign up HERE.
• All swimmers will receive their team swim caps at Time Trials or at practice next week.

Inclement Weather

• Given the potential for severe weather today, please take a moment to ensure you are using the SwimTopia app. Double check you are logged into your account and confirm you have notifications turned on. • Our Inclement Weather Policy: Practices will be held in rain. Practice may be delayed or canceled due to lightning or thunder. Updates will be sent via SwimTopia. For the quickest alerts, sign up for Team Alerts on SwimTopia Mobile.

SwimTopia is an invaluable source of information for the team. It serves as our meet management platform (RSVPs, volunteer signups, and meet entries) and is constantly updated with important information and announcements for the week. You can also find easy access to recently sent emails and the Penguin Posts, as well as answers to frequently asked questions, meet results, the team handbook, the team stores, and a slew of helpful resources about MCSL, swim meets, or our team.
