Hi parents! Please read through the following important reminders. It is a BUSY week!

• PLEASE sign up to volunteer at tomorrow’s B Meet @ Strathmore Bel Pre!
• Meet entries are almost finalized. Double check for your swimmer’s events and reach out to us if you have any questions.
  • In the SwimTopia App: Open the B Meet @ Strathmore and you will see “Events of Interest” for your swimmer. These are their meet entries.
  • On the website: Meets & Events > Signup Calendar > Meet Entry and your swimmer’s events will be listed if they are attending.
• Parents: Please help support the coaches & team reps and remind your swimmers to respect the host team’s rules and requests. Let’s represent our neighborhood well!
• Details for tomorrow’s event are below. We highly recommend bringing your own chairs, bug spray, sunscreen, and water!
• Tomorrow is the deadline to RSVP for BOTH meets this weekend. We have an Away Dual Meet @ Upper County on Saturday, and the Division O Relay Carnival @ Kemp Mill on Sunday. We need as many swimmers as possible! Confused about all of these different meets? Check out the Meets Overview from the Team Handbook.

Wednesday, June 19: B Meet @ Strathmore Bel Pre

Location: Strathmore Bel Pre Pool, 13920 Bethpage Lane, Silver Spring, MD 20906. Parking is available in the pool parking lot and on Bethpage Lane. The lot should have plenty of room, but if overflow is needed, please only park on the pool side of the street.The visiting team area is located in the grassy area at the bottom of the ramp to the pool. Time: Swimmers should arrive NO LATER THAN 5pm! Officials and timers meetings will be around 5:30-5:40.

Spirit Theme: Superheroes v. Villains!

What to Bring: Swimmers should bring 2 pairs of goggles, team swim cap + a spare, and a filled water bottle. Don’t forget chairs, bug spray, sunscreen, and water. There is a shaded area but it might still be helpful to bring a canopy/tent. Concessions will be available.

Requests from the Hosting Team:

• Swimmers must remain in their designated team area except for restroom breaks and trips to concessions.
• Swimmers and non-swimmers are not allowed on the pirate ship and playground as this area is closed during meets. The wading pool is also closed during meets.
• Out of respect for all swimmers and spectators, we do not allow drums or other noisemakers during the meet.
• Please make sure trash and recycling are put in the proper receptacles and that your team area is clean before your team leaves at the end of the meet.

Order of Events: The Dolphins swim in the Prince-Mont Swim League, so therefore follow a different order of events than MCSL. That order can be found at the PMSL Order of Events. We will not swim relays at B Meets.
