Congratulations to ALL of our Penguins, parent volunteers and coaches! We are currently 3-0 & placed 3rd in the Divisional Relay Carnival.

• Big shout out to our Swim-Up swimmers ~ the points earned were essential to the team’s successes this weekend: Lana B., Kaely C., Sarah C., Penny H., Noah K., Kidst T., and Taylor T.
• We have a number of relay teams that will have a chance to swim during the All Star Relay against other divisional relay teams on Saturday, July 28th. We will send out more information once those teams are confirmed by MCSL.

Below are a few reminders and updates for our Penguin families:

• Ensure your swimmer brings their swim cap, goggles, towel, water bottle, and kick board if they have one to every practice.
• Your swimmer should use the bathroom BEFORE practice starts!
• Make sure your swimmer checks in with their Poplar Run pool pass & signs the attendance sheet in the PR Penguins Binder with the Gate Guards.
• Remind your swimmer to listen to the coaches and pay attention during practices.
• Don’t forget to RSVP if your swimmer will be swimming via Swimtopia for this week’s Swim Meets - B Meet on Wednesday & Away Dual Meet on Saturday!

This Wednesday will be our second B Meet vs. Norbeck Grove. Theme for this meet is Wacky Tacky! Come dressed in mismatched and fun outfits!

• PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU RSVP FOR THE B MEET via Swimtopia - especially if your swimmer will NOT be available to swim in the B Meet! We want to ensure that ALL our Penguins get a chance to swim!!!
• Norbeck Grove Pool Address: 18309 Wickham Road, Olney, MD 20832.
• Please arrive at Pool NO LATER THAN 5pm ready to swim.
• Make sure your swimmer brings 2x Goggles, Team swim cap + spare, and filled water bottle to the meet.
• Please bring your own chairs, shade (canopies) and bug spray!
• MORE INFORMATION WILL BE SENT CLOSER TO THE MEET DATE!

This Friday’s Fun Practice & Pep Rally ~ THEME is Neon & Glow Crazy! Wear bright colors and/or glow in the dark!

Friday Fun Practice will be held from 5-6pm, followed by our weekly Pep Rally Potluck, beginning at 6pm on the Pool Deck! Sign up with what you are bringing via SignUp Genius Link!

This upcoming Saturday, we have our last AWAY dual meet vs. Twinbrook.

We are in the process of determining meet event line-ups so PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU RSVP FOR SATURDAY’S MEET via Swimtopia - especially if your swimmer will NOT be available for the meet this Saturday!

• Twinbrook Pool Address = 13027 Atlantic Ave. Rockville, MD 20851
• Swimmers & Parent Volunteers MUST be there by 7:45am so that they are ready to jump in for scheduled warm-up.
