We are cancelling Afternoon Practice & the Lollipop Meet tonight, 7/10 due to extreme high water temperatures in the lap pool. Currently - at 3:30pm - the lap pool was at 90 degrees. This is too high of a temperature for our swimmers to be practicing and is unsafe for their health. The attached photograph is of the water temperature reading conducted at 3:30pm today. 

We are planning to conduct morning practice tomorrow, Thursday 7/11 which we encourage all Emperor & Macaroni - 7-8am and Rockhopper - 8-9am Penguins to attend. The water and air temperature will be in a much safer range for practice. We will continue to monitor the water temperature to ensure that all our penguins are safe to practice in the lap pool. 

The coaches and team reps will be discussing a possible make-up for the lollipop meet. Please be on the lookout for additional emails coming soon.
